Hello, hello and welcome back to Rising Coaches with Sofia Bernardi.
It is the 1st of June as I record this and I cannot believe we are halfway through 2025 already. I swear time is just going by faster and faster every year. I literally cannot keep up.
Today I thought it would be really fitting to share with you some hard truths about why you might be stuck or haven’t progressed as much as you would have liked to, and what you can actually do about it to make the most of the remainder of 2025.
But before I jump into that, I want to share a quick life update because I know you are all loving these so much.
Life Update:
I’m feeling really happy where I’m at physically, emotionally, and financially right now in my life. I feel like this has been a reoccurring pattern that I’ve felt most of this year which is super, super good. I’m super proud of myself.
Jordy and I are going really great, I’m feeling all loved up. We went on the cutest date last night. My health is the best it’s been in years and my business is celebrating its biggest cash month to date. Oh life is so good.
I’m so excited for next week’s episode where I’ll be breaking down that entire month – how I hit $83,000 in cash. Oh my goodness, I can’t believe I’m saying that out loud.
In the last week, I’ve had a really spacious week with very minimal calls. I think I had literally two calls for the whole week, which has been just what I needed after a big few weeks of holding a little bit of stress and growth like I’ve spoken about in the last couple of episodes.
So I’ve just spent lots of time with Jordy, I’ve been doing a lot of back-end stuff in my business. I’ve actually hired a sales closer to take over the sales calls moving forward. I’ve been doing lots of walks and Pilates classes. I actually just got back from a Pilates class. I’ve been super consistent and disciplined.
Daily Habits & Routines:
I say disciplined but it’s not hard. It feels very sustainable, very doable. I think it’s a good thing to go for a walk every day. It’s a good thing to move your body every day and I’ve created a really nice routine for myself.
I’ve also been going to bed at like 8:00 p.m. every single night with Jordy so my body clock is so crazy now. We’ve been waking up at crazy hours.
It is a Sunday here at the time of recording this and I’ve been up since 4:00 a.m. Yes, 4:00 in the morning on a Sunday. Who even does that? But it’s honestly been super nice. Jordy and I went for a walk in the dark early hours of the morning and it was just so nice. Everyone else is asleep, you’ve got the world to yourself. It’s just so peaceful and quiet, and then watching the sun come up is really beautiful.
Last night we went on a really nice date to celebrate my biggest cash month and we were literally home by 7:00 p.m. We had had dinner and dessert and we were home by about 7:00 p.m. and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was so nice.
A Personal Story & Big Lessons:
On a deeper note though, last week I also navigated a really interesting situation with my dad and I decided to share it on the internet, which is not something I would usually do.
While I share a lot of my life, I’m also actually very private. I don’t share a lot of things that aren’t relevant to my business or who I help outside of more basic things like what I might be doing in a day or little fun things like that.
But I decided to share this particular situation because I felt like there were a whole bunch of lessons that would be really helpful for people—not relating to the situation specifically but the lessons that came out of it.
Everyone goes through difficult things and challenges, and I think it’s how you perceive or go about those things that matters so much.
Long story short, my dad is mentally unwell with a severe gambling addiction that broke my family apart many years ago.
While I’ve had a pretty good relationship with him the last few years—mainly because we kept things surface level—it recently went downhill during a phone call where we ended up talking about the past.
He said some really unkind things about me and the people I love, and I decided I needed space.
I set a boundary and said I wouldn’t talk unless he apologized. Instead, I got a flood of nasty messages.
But here’s the thing—unlike in the past, those messages didn’t hurt me. I’ve done the inner work. I’ve built self-worth and confidence. I didn’t believe a word he said.
It just felt like projections. And that’s the power of mindset work and self-love.
Mindset Shift:
I shared it because I wanted others to know that when you feel good within, external negativity doesn’t have power over you.
When you stop needing external validation, you can move forward no matter what’s happening around you.
The post received a massive outpouring of love—messages, calls, even flowers. It reminded me how many people are silently supporting and paying attention.
It was this beautiful duality of darkness and light all at once. So if you were one of those people—thank you.
Mid-Year Reset & Business Reflection:
Now, if you’ve smashed all your 2025 goals—amazing! Set even bigger ones. Stretch yourself and continue the habits that got you here.
But if you’re not on track or feel behind, this is your reset moment. We’re halfway through 2025, and there is still so much time left.
You don’t need to have reached the goal yet. You just need to be showing up every day, learning, improving, and staying aligned. That’s what matters.
I’m not on track with one of my big goals either—but I just hit my biggest cash month ever. So I’m growing, and that’s the point.
Questions to Reflect On:
Let’s check in:
What did you say you wanted at the start of 2025?
Are you proud of your progress?
If I followed you for a week—would I know you’re serious about your goals?
The Truth About Growth:
This isn’t about guilt—it’s about truth. Your success lies in the small decisions, your habits, how you spend your time.
Your life changes when your habits match your vision consistently.
You can journal and vision board all you like, but if you don’t take aligned daily action, nothing changes.
Three Steps for the Rest of 2025:
1. Reflect — What were your goals in January? Are you proud of your progress? Be honest.
2. Realign — What is one daily habit that would move the needle? Commit to it.
3. Recommit — Write down your vision again. Anchor back into your why. Discipline comes from your why.
If you need support, message me. I’d love to help you with accountability, clarity, and direction.
Let’s finish this year strong. I’ll see you in next week’s episode.
