When I first started my business I compared myself to everyone.
😩Everyone who was prettier than me.
😩Making more money than me.
😩Living a more luxurious lifestyle than me.
😩Had better branding than me.
😩Everyone.
My partner would always encourage me not to because he could see how sad it made me, but I couldn’t seem to stop.
I tried everything.
👉🏼I unfollowed everyone on Instagram.
👉🏼I got the Facebook feed remover extension.
👉🏼I would read positive affirmations each morning.
👉🏼And still, I’d compare myself – leaving me feeling stuck, lost and not enough.
One day, I got sick of myself. Sick of judging, questioning, crying and overthinking my every move. I decided to stay in my own lane and focus on where I was going.
A few years have passed and I’ve noticed how my relationship with comparison has drastically changed.
I no longer compare myself to others negatively, but rather use comparison in positive ways. 🥰
In my recent podcast episode on Rising Coaches With Sofia Bernardi, I share how I did this along with sharing a few personal examples. 🎧
I now use comparison as an opportunity for healing, growth and inspiration. ✨🎉
I believe there is enough success to go around, and if you see others doing “better” thank you, know – that it’s just evidence it’s possible for you too. 🔥
You got this xo
