My Story From Hospitality Worker To Half A Million Dollar Business Coach In 3 Years
It was just over 3 years ago that I was working 5 different jobs across hospitality to get by financially.
I would spend my days walking peoples dogs, cleaning their houses and cooking their food. Then I would go and babysit children after school until dinner time. When the parents came home, I’d then sometimes go to a catering job at an event till later that night!
And whilst it wasn’t all that bad, I had this deep inner knowing that I was meant for so much more.
I knew I wanted to help people, I just didn’t know how.
Along my personal growth journey, I discovered coaching. The moment I realised that this was a career path I could go down myself, I knew that this was my calling.
To help others overcome what I had been through.
I invested in a business coach myself to the learn the foundations of growing a business.
Year 1 in business was tough. Mindset barrier after barrier. Each month felt as though I was starting again. Signing one client felt like climbing mt Everest. I was afraid of selling, I doubted my every move and felt as though I was taking one step forwards and one step backwards.
Year 2 in business, there was momentum. I had discovered a strategy that felt the most fulfilling and financially rewarding – running challenges and events in my free Facebook group. Here, I reached my first consistent 10, 20, 30k months. I was so grateful and went full time in my business.
In year 3, I was already scaling. Learning how to keep up with the growth, constant shifts and supporting more and more clients. Here, I was still using the same strategies, but mastered them. I learned the importance and power of simplicity, sustainability and scalability in my decisions.
Today I am running a half a million dollar business, One strategy, one core offer, one target audience and one mindset practice.
What I have created and supported my clients to create is no accident. It is through strategy, psychology and energy. I want this for you too.
