Why I’ve Worked With The Same Coach For 3 Years
I used to coach hop and I wasted a lot of time and money re-starting, re explaining, and re learning which slowed down my growth.
Now don’t get me wrong, sometimes it can take some time to find the right coach, support and approach for you, but once you have found your person, the fastest way to grow isn’t to keep investing in new and different things, but actually commit to mastering one approach with one person.
I have now worked with my business coach for over 3 years and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.
Here are 4 benefits I have experienced from investing in long term mentorship in comparison to short containers
1. Investing in long term mentorship means your coach can get to know you, your values, personality, goals and business model at the deepest level. Just like any relationship, it can take time. By investing in long term mentorship, you get to go deep, far and fast because they truly get you.
2. Investing in long term mentorship has allowed me to focus on mastery rather than dabbling which has made me really good at one approach opposed to half doing many things.
3. Investing in long term mentorship has meant I don’t have to waste so much time explaining myself and my business model to someone else over and over again.
4. Investing in long term mentorship creates a strong sense of safety. I have gone to my coach with all sorts of situations both professionally and personally, and I’ve felt safe to do so.
