Most coaches aren’t making the money they want, and it’s not because they aren’t good enough. In fact, some people are way more skilled and way more qualified than the people making the most money in this industry. The discrepancy comes down to a few critical errors: they are undercharging, overgiving, or setting their prices out of fear instead of actual strategy. They are completely undervaluing their genius. Alternatively, some price way too high too soon without the underlying confidence, positioning, or sales skills to back it up—and then they wonder why their application forms remain empty. If you want to be hitting those $10K, $20K, and $30K months, your pricing must reflect the value of the transformation. I have made well over $3 million in my business without ever burning out, and one of the core reasons is how I structure my pricing. Here is the exact breakdown of how to choose a price that feels deeply aligned, reflects your worth, and converts high-ticket clients seamlessly.
Before you pluck a random, comfortable number out of thin air, you need to treat your coaching practice like a real business. You must understand what it actually costs you to deliver your service. In the online space, we are incredibly lucky because our overhead is low, but money isn’t the only currency you are spending. To find an aligned price, you must evaluate your time and energy, your technical backend, and your team and support. You must also account for your qualifications and expertise. Think about lawyers and accountants—they charge substantial fees because of their degrees and specialized experience, not the physical minutes they spend. Your certifications in NLP, hypnotherapy, human design, or deep healing modalities cost you years of time, effort, and money, and it is vital that you charge accordingly. Stop pricing based on what you think people can afford. Price based on the absolute value of your expertise and the operational costs of delivering a premium experience.
If you are still charging by the hour, I want to lovingly challenge you to drop that mentality immediately. Charging by the hour puts an absolute ceiling on your income and unintentionally devalues your expertise. When you charge by the hour, you teach your clients to focus on how much time they are getting with you rather than the transformation they came for. Therapists and counselors operate this way, and as a result, their models are highly capped. Coaches are outcome-oriented solution providers. Think about it this way: if you are exceptional at what you do, you can help a client achieve a massive breakthrough in a single hour. If that breakthrough saves them years of struggle or makes them thousands of dollars, that hour is easily worth $10,000. Why would you punish yourself for being fast and effective by charging a cheap hourly rate? Shift your positioning from a time provider to a solution provider, because high-ticket, long-term offers create freedom, ease, and consistent income.
Let’s look at the simple business math behind a $10,000 month. There are multiple ways to reach this number, but they require very different levels of energetic hustle. You could work with four dream clients paying you $2,500, or you could chase one hundred low-paying clients who are only paying you $100. Many coaches fall into the trap of believing that a low-ticket offer is easier because it feels safer to pitch. But the truth is, selling a cheap offer to a massive volume of people requires a huge audience and a non-stop marketing hustle. I have found it just as hard to sell a low-ticket offer as it is to sell a $15,000 premium package. Low pricing does not make you more accessible, beautiful; it just makes your business unsustainable. You don’t always need more clients; you need longer, deeper, higher-value ones. High-ticket group models or selective high-ticket 1:1 containers are the fastest and most sustainable paths to consistent revenue without risking burnout.
To confidently state your premium pricing on a sales call, you have to heal the underlying energetic blocks and rewire your mindset. If you catch yourself thinking that your offer isn’t worth more, stop lowering the price and instead ask yourself a higher quality question: what would it look like if my offer was worth double, what would be included, and how would it be positioned? If you feel bad charging people who are struggling, remember that if you focus entirely on people who cannot afford you, you will not have a business—you will have an expensive, time-consuming hobby. Ideal clients find a way to invest in themselves when they deeply desire the outcome. And if you are simply scared to say the number out loud, practice it until it becomes your normal. Say it in the mirror thirty times a day before sales calls until your nervous system acclimates to the value.
If you are ready to move past the guesswork, design a truly irresistible premium offer, and pair it with a seamless marketing and sales strategy, let’s look at your business together.
